A Gestalt Media Update

So…

Why aren’t we producing updates at the same rate as the summer/fall?

Because content creation is a massive time suck. For larger teams that have dedicated social media managers…that’s a great luxury to have. We do not, and that’s fine! It’s absolutely fine. Gestalt Media is a very small, dedicated team of creators who all have obligations and devote their time to this because we believe in it and we love it. We all wear many hats, and we all do several jobs, and it’s exhausting…but it’s worth it.

Right now? ALL focus is on getting this documentary built and out in the new year. It’s the sole all-consuming passion. Sometimes I get up on Saturday mornings or Wednesdays and I bang out a quick update or expound on a subject that I think will be entertaining to you guys becuase I LOVE connecting with you but…right now, I’m getting up at 5:30 am and spending every morning ass-deep in critical scholarly work making sure we have every possible facet of this new theory covered. On weekends, we’re shooting cut scenes, building up b-roll, assembling episodes, and transcribing this enormous list of interviews. It’s exhausting, but it’s the most fun you can possibly have as a creator, so… worth it.

In the meantime, I hope you all stick with us, continue to enjoy the (sometimes sporadic) updates, and I sincerely can’t wait to share this massive group effort with each and every one of you who made it possible.
